We are proud to be partner of National Research Council (CNR) for the development of a new approach on human detection based on IoT Infrared Array Sensor mounted on EnviSense.
Our research has been funded by European Regional Development program Innodriver, the research firmware is currently under testing on our EnviSense products for people flow counting and improved presence detection.
This approach prevents typical detection problems due to interfering thermal sources such as heaters, radiators and other thermal devices. Experiments has been conducted using ceiling mounted sensors and shows high accuracy and robustness even in cases where thermal signatures are closer to the ambient temperature.
